WE KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO LEARN

We understand hat there is a lot of information to take in our two-week training program. So we only train two students at a time at most, usually one-on-one. With two trainees it allows you to help each other out through practice and support. Out training follows aregular work day of 8am to 5pm, with an all hands on training approach. PDR is a craft, not a procedure, so it goes take consistent practice after training is complete. We teach youthe basics: mastering the craft up to your dedication and practice.


 

WHAT DOES BEACH CITIES OFFER

  • We offer a 2-week, 8 hour day training program in a relaxed no pressure atmosphere with regular breaks

  • We have new shop to train in. Jeff is lead instructor on brother Mark is assistant.

You will have plenty of instruction.

  • We will show how to read the metal with much more understanding and detail to what is going on while pushing a dent.

  • You will ride along to mobile jobs to experience how to deal with customers and shop managers as well as learn how to deal with them in the shop

  • We offer a 2-week, 8 hour day training program in a relaxed no pressure atmosphere with regular breaks

  • When your training is complete you will receive a certificate of completion a lifetime of technical support

 

BASIC TRAINING BREAK DOWN

We will measure your natural ability at removing dents then start your hands on training

You will learn both small and large dent removal, large dents being our specialty.

You will learn the basic understanding of ow a car is structured and how to place tools in and around braces, support and safety beams

You will learn how to place your tool on the dent, tool placement and when to use specific tools

You will learn how to use different light boards and light stands. How to read highs and lows within dents

You will learn how to access panels and how to use braces to your advantage

You will learn where and when to drills holes and use them to your advantage

You will be tested daily to monitor you progress by removing dents

Also attached is a video of our most recent trainee. He is removing a dent at the end of his training and he does it in only 6 minutes.

 

 

Big dents and advanced training

Are you a seasoned tech and are wanting to remove those much larger dents up to basketball size. One of the biggest things we are known for is removing those larger dents. We have helped techs with 2 to 12 years experience.               

WHAT QUALIFIES BEACH CITIES TO TRAIN

Jeff Magill, Owner of Beach Cities PDR, has many years of automotive experience. Having been an auto technician for over 10 years and a dent technician since 1996 Jeff knows his way around cars. Beach Cities has built for itself doing what we call custom dent repair. We’ve been able to work on: Golfstream G5 Aircraft, A Satellite built by NASA, Chip Foose and the OVERHAULIN team, Hail storms throughout the Country and Mexico etc. He is also very familiar with body shop method of repair: a process that involves grinding, bondo and repainting of the panel. This process is more expensive and takes much more time.
